Which Forex EA should I choose ?

There are many Expert Advisors available today, some of them are good, some of them are poorly written up and not so good. Distinguishing the good from the bad is actually suprisingly easy.

First of all, there is an important thing which you should consider in your trades, whether you are using an EA or your own manual system, and that is by having a diverse portfolio of different currencies, it can prove to be more beneficial and profitable because you are diversifying your risk across the different currency pairs as opposed to having all your money in one.

The old saying of don't put all your eggs in one basket certainly rings true, even when using expert advisors : spread the risk accross different pairs.

What their technical support is like : Some vendors such as ZipForex go as far as providing remote access support where they temporarily connect directly to your computer and resolve any setup, installation or other technical issue you may have by seeing your desktop just as you see it. This software is expensive and shows just the level of commitment some expert advisor vendors have to you as their customer.
Is it a registered LLC company or have they copywrited their software?
Do they provide live forward tests and real live forex trading statements ? This is very important because a forward forex statement is a live trading account that is broadcast on their website. Some Expert Advisors, such as Shark EA and Griffin EA from Forex Expert Advisor Systems, actually give you a third partly log in to view their live forex trading account.

Do they have an About Us page and contact email/phone. Can you put a face to the name ? When you call or email these vendors, you should expect quick and accurate information in a timely fasion. If you do not hear from the owner of an advertised Expert Advisor website quickly, they most likely are just trying to peddle a lousy trading system.
